Because really, who has time to spend running around Target anymore?

Amazon is an amazing resource for parents because 1. you don’t have to leave the house to get what you need and 2. you can get things pretty quickly.

So I searched the web for the most life-saving product they’ve ordered on Amazon and rounded up the 10 best products for you.

2. The Green Sprouts Water Bottle Adapter turns any standard water bottle into a sippy cup.

Green Sprouts Water Bottle

” love it. I always carry it with me. I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews about it. People complain that it doesn’t fit the bottles, there are 2 threaded sides to it. If it doesn’t fit on one bottle, take the nipple off and try the other side. so far I have tried it on Kroger, Walmart, sams and deer park water bottles and have had no problems. The only thing I don’t like is once in a while you have to unscrew it to let the air back in the bottle. my son likes to drink the water fast and make the bottle suck in. all in all, I love it and plan to get more.” – Pleased customer

4. The Snuggin is a stuffed animal that allows you to attach and store pacifiers, keeping them in reach and off the ground.

When I was searching the net for feedback about this toy I saw that it got 5/5 stars from almost 100 customers who bought it.

and this is only one review of a satisfied customer: “We have a six-month-old that currently plays with a toy for a while and looks for the next thing. The Snuggin has been the longest lasting toy that she has enjoyed. I LOVE how you can change out the accessories using the velcro so that there is always something new (we’ve attached various other little plastic toys) so it keeps her entertained.

The quality of the material is great – it feels soft and seems like it will last a long time. Love the extra storage and the ability to change the toy by adding accessories, pacifiers, etc.”

8. The ZoLi nail trimmer has cushioned pads designed for each stage of your baby’s growth.

ZoLi nail trimmer 2

Surely you’ve heard before,” YOU need this because…” This time, however, it could be true.

at’s great about this invention that has changed the life of many parents? Three things…

  1. It comes with four different file textures so you can be sure that it gets the best file for your baby. It comes with 2 files for soft, brittle infant nails and 2 files for stronger, thicker toddler nails. The manufacturer recommends the product for newborns to age 2 as by that time you should feel safe using clippers and the files won’t work well with your older child’s thick nails.
  2. The Buzz B has two speeds that you control depending on how your baby is reacting to the filing or if the nail is a bit tougher on one side than the other. The low speed did a great job all on its own but he actually giggled when the clipper touched his nail so we cranked it up to high speed to see how much more it would tickle his nails down. They turned out perfect with no tears from him and no blood from accidently clipping his skin. We were both very happy.
  3. It comes in its own carrying case which you can stuff away on a shelf high from little roaming hands. I’m not sure about your house but in mine, if they can see it, they will find it and play with it. We have to put every nail clipper, file, and thermometer high up from sticky fingers. The case makes sure it stays clean and all the parts in one place.

9. This diaper cream applicator tool is an easy way to avoid getting diaper cream all over your hands.

I thought this was a gimmick, but now I’m a believer. I don’t have to keep my nails stubby anymore. Wish they made a carrying case for the diaper bag. Super convenient and easy to clean! – Happy Customer.

And this product has another 1200+ happy customers that rate this product 5/5 stars.

10. The Snuza is a monitor that will alert you if your baby stops breathing.

Snuza Hero

Snuza Hero baby monitor is a wearable device which attaches to your baby’s diaper and monitors your baby’s abdominal movement. The Hero detects the slightest of movements and will alert you if an abdominal movement is weak or less than eight movements per minute. If the Snuza® Hero detects no abdominal movement for 15 seconds it will vibrate in an effort to rouse your baby to resume abdominal movement.

That’s it, I hope all of this information will help.

I like your approach. For parents it’s not that easy to go the shops. You have to get ready to leave, not only get dressed and put on make up, etc, but get your baby ready as well.

I really like that green sprout product. What a nifty idea. That’s really cool and quie cheap too. What I’m wondering about is the durability of this? So how long can it sustain constant use?

    • Efi Azulay

      Hi Owain,

From my experiance it can sustain constnat use for a long time.

I bought it to my kids 2 years ago and we are still using it.

  • Michael

Ok, you’re definitely right about the nosefrida being gross, lol. I really like the water bottle adapter and the pouch. Why haven’t I heard of these before? lol. The Snuza monitor is genius to say the least. I wish it wasn’t so expensive, but you really can’t put a price on your peace of mind when it comes to your child. Thanks for sharing this.

With the many mothers-to-be, mothers who already have babies and young toddlers, and even young women not yet expecting but hoping their day will soon come, toys that will help a toddlers mental development is so important.

Most babies are smarter than we think. Over the years, we watch them grow. Their young minds slowly shaping to the world around us through the use of toys and games, as your site shows.

Growing up, my parents were too poor to buy us toys that’s offered to children today. They didn’t even have the big outlet chain warehouses that you see online. (Come to think of it, when I was young, the internet wasn’t even in existence.)

The information and items you provide will help any mom and the moms to be in regards to what’s offered to our children.

    Hey there Efi,
The Nail trimmer is really interesting, not to mention the diaper cream applicator! I’ve been looking for unique baby products everywhere and those sold at retail stores are always the same.

My sister is giving birth in a few months time, I’m definitely getting her some of your products. Great review, keep on writing mate!

  • Maria

There are so many products that I didn’t even know existed, I am so impressed with the little green pouch. Packing food is essential even on a short trip out. Kids always want to eat. You could easily prep these pouches and freeze them, grab them and go! Very cool 🙂

  • Gary

All of these products are brilliant. The guy who invented the Snuza Hero Baby Monitor deserves a Nobel Prize.

A friend of mine lost her baby to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). I cannot imagine anything more horrific for a parent. The mental impact of her loss is still with her 18 years later.

The Snuza is a must have for any parent of an infant.

    • Efi Azulay

      Hi Gary,
      Sorry to hear that.
As a father, I don’t know how someone can continue living after something like this happen.
      It’s really life-saving product.

  • A website like this can come in very handy when you have as many grandchildren as I do. I sometimes find it’s hard to decide what to purchase with my sons and their wives already buying them so much. I can see from some of the things you have listed there are quite a few things I know they will not have.

The great thing I like about shopping from sites like yours is I can have the products sent to my son’s homes where they live in different areas.

  • Nathalie

I found the Zoli nail trimmer very interesting because my 21 months old son doesn’t like me to use the clipper.

Even if the clipper is designed for babies, he won’t let me touch his nail.

Currently, some are longer than others because I’ve managed to trim only a few of them.

It’s a bit pricey but it seems good. I might try it.
    Thanks for the info.

I really loved this post! I’m gonna make sure to send it to my brother who lives in Canada, his wife will love everything here. I wish I knew before now that many great looking product exists. In my opinion, the best one are number 6 and 7! You did a really good job. 🙂

  • Hi Efi, This post is great. I wish they would of had a lot of these things when I had my babies. The only one that I recognize is the Avent pacifier, my son loved his. I’m quite intrigued by the NoseFrida…I could have used that so many times. Do you think I could use it on older kids? I have a few friends that still have little ones and I will definitely be passing on your web page. Thank you again for the information. Lovely. 🙂

  • Great post! I’m a mom of 2 toddlers, and you’ve really nailed some of the big problems and some awesome solutions! My 2 favorite items above personally are the Little Green Pouch, and the Nail Trimmer… serving home-made baby food on the go is so frustrating… those re-usable pouches are great. And nail trimming – if we have another baby, I think I’ll try out your suggestion… my husband has had to become the kiddie-manicurist as I can’t get them to sit still enough!

  • You have done some great research! I love all of these items they are well made and seem really functional. I don’t even have kids but I wish I did just to buy some of these 🙂 Great site!

  • Great list, and really good for anyone that needs to think of different but useful gifts for babies – I don’t have any children so when it comes to buying presents I’m always stuck with what to get so I’ll definitely keep this list saved for next time.

I’ve seen a lot lately about safe sleeping positions for babies and there seems to be a lot more ‘baby sleeping bags’ for sale, not sure if you’ve seen those and think they would be a good thing to add to this sort of list too?

  • Efi – Thanks for the great articles and for including the reviews right here on the page. Saved me lots of time not needing to go look those up. We are expecting our first child next month, so I will be bookmarking your site to come back and get ideas from as she gets here and we start this process of raising this little human! These are some great looking products, will definitely be checking out the diaper cream applicator thing and the water bottle adapter for down the road when we get to that point. Thanks again, I’ll let you know what our favorite life saver is for an infant and get you some feedback for that personally. Take care!

    • Hi Josh,
First of all congratulation for the upcoming birth of your child.
And I glad to hear you liked this page.
I am waiting to hear what is your favorite life saver 🙂

  • Hi Efi, what a great web page. I am a mother to a 7-month-old so this is very relevant to me. wish I had heard about the shusher. My son was very colic and I would have tried anything to soothe him. I also like all the different pacifiers I definitely try the night time one as I’ve had many a night searching for one in the dark.

  • There are some many articles in the market that sometimes it is very difficult to find what you really need or want. This is great for the son to be parents. Thanks for the useful tips!

  • Will

Wow, this is a really detailed post! Well done on all the research. I have so many friends around me who have small kids. I am sure to share this post with them and I know they will love it. Btw, great site! Love the clean cut design and layout. Keep it up!

  • Oh my gosh! A toy that can attach binkies and teething rings so they don’t fall to the ground a million times?!?

Genius. I know what I’m getting a few of my friends for Christmas based on this list right here. I’m totally sharing on Facebook, too. Awesome stuff!!

  • Hi Efi

I have watched your video and I have to say that “Baby Shusher – The Soothing Sleep Miracle for Babies” was an eye-opener for me! It’s really a miracle to see how quickly it helps a crying baby to calm down and in no time fallen asleep. This product is really cool as it is so versatile and not too heavy for any parents to carry it around. Thanks to you for this very informative baby products website.

    Cheers, Anna

  • Rachael

Wow I love this! So good to see someone actually recommending products that have worked for them. Thanks Eli, I will be keeping the Shusher in mind especially 🙂

  • wendy

I got a lot of good ideas for my grand-kids. There are so many new things out there for babies. Who would have thought of an applicator for rash cream. I especially like the baby Shusher. It really seems to work and perfect for a baby who doesn’t want to sleep.
